This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on powdorum.co.uk, which is run by E-Macro Initiatives Ltd (company number 09956945). A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device so that it can remember things, such as what is in your basket.
1. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are only set if you agree. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings button shown on every page, or by deleting cookies in your browser.
2. The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: these make the shop work, for example remembering your basket, keeping you logged in to your account, keeping checkout secure, protecting the site from attacks and spam (Cloudflare), and remembering your cookie choice. They do not need your consent, and the site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics, used through Google Site Kit, tells us in general terms how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited, so that we can improve it. It does not tell us who you are.
- Advertising (only with your consent): where we advertise with Google, cookies may be used to measure whether an advert led to a visit or an order.
Payment pages may set their own cookies when you pay with WooPayments (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or PayPal; those are covered by the payment provider’s own cookie notice.
3. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the basket and checkout from working. Guidance for each browser is available at ico.org.uk.
4. More information
How we use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].
